Explore dancing from the instinctual body! We will deepen our perceptual skills both inner and outer: integration through body parts and systems, self and other, body and space. We will tune our "listening", focus our sense of center, train reflexes, and play with vocalizing - returning to a 3-dimensional wildness. Specificity in falling, point of contact, supporting and flying will be taught. The animal body leads us into an embodied primordial knowing where depth and range erupt in a variety of dimensions: timing, space, quality, and aesthetic. We hone our improvising skills with all stimuli. Open dancing at end of each class.
Must have some CI experience.
